Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Foreman Hornets

Having just played yesterday, the Roosevelt Rough Riders will head out on the road to face off against the Foreman Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt hasn't scored more than 16 points for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Tuesday, Roosevelt had to suffer through a 37-1 loss at the hands of Mather.

Meanwhile, Foreman scored the most points they've had this season two weeks ago, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 29-28 to Steinmetz College Prep. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Foreman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Roosevelt won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in March of 2021, slipping by Foreman 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roosevelt since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
