Monroe Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fort Frye Cadets. This was a revenge game for the Seminoles: when they faced off against the Cadets last Saturday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Olivia Bettinger paced Monroe Central's offense, picking up 17 kills. Bettinger got some help from Isabella Farnsworth and her 14 assists. Kamryn Winland controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Monroe Central's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Fort Frye, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Monroe Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Barnesville on the 24th. Fort Frye has also already played their next game (against Point Pleasant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
