Baseball Game Preview: Fort Frye Cadets vs. Caldwell Redskins

Fort Frye is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Caldwell is on a four-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Cadets will host the Redskins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Fort Frye's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They skirted past Warren 2-0. That's two games straight that the Cadets have won by exactly two runs.

Meanwhile, Caldwell posted their closest victory since May 15, 2024 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Shadyside. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Redskins have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
