Softball Recap: Monday's Win Is Charleston's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Booneville, Charleston was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Huntsville Eagles by a score of 10-7. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their two-run performance the match before.

Charleston has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Huntsville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Charleston wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-3 loss against Lamar on the 15th. As for Huntsville, they have also already played their next match, a 20-12 victory against Green Forest on the 15th.
