Recap: Otis-Bison Cougars vs. Stafford Trojans
After flying high against the Natoma Tigers last Thursday, the Otis-Bison Cougars came back down to earth. Otis-Bison took a hard 54-36 fall against Stafford on Monday. Otis-Bison has not had much luck with Stafford recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Brody Kerschenske, who scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Stafford's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Simmons, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Otis-Bison's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Stafford, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Otis-Bison is on the road again on Monday and play against Chase at 7:30 p.m. on December 11th. Stafford will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Macksville at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th.
