Basketball Recap: Legacy Has No Trouble Against Mineral Wells

On Friday, everything went the Legacy Leopards's way against the Mineral Wells Rams as the Legacy Leopards made off with a 54-29 win. Given the Leopards' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Rams are ranked 1326th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Legacy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Mineral Wells, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Legacy will be taking part in a tournament against Cleveland at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cleveland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Mineral Wells, they will take on Cedar Ridge in a tournament on December 27th.
