Mountain View not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Mid Valley Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Mountain View walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-16.
Mountain View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubrey Sanders led the charge by getting four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Sanders has posted since back in September. Addison Kilmer was another key player, getting ten blocks and nine kills.
They weren't the only good servers: Mountain View was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mid Valley only served three.
Despite the loss, Mid Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Arianna Vitaletti had 11 digs.
Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Mid Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
