Football Recap: Window Rock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Window Rock had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it seven. They lost 28-8 to the Ganado Hornets. If the Fighting Scouts were looking for revenge after losing 38-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Ganado, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Ganado found their leader in sophomore Jeronen Nargo, who forced one fumble and made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Window Rock will square off against Chinle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Fighting Scouts surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ganado, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Winslow at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
