Basketball Recap: Elk Grove Takes a Loss

Elk Grove lost against Schaumburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Elk Grove Grenadiers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Schaumburg Saxons. The Grenadiers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elk Grove's record now sits at 4-27. As for Schaumburg, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-21.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elk Grove will square off against Glenbard North at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Schaumburg, they will challenge Stevenson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
