Volleyball Recap: Woodward Academy Beats South Aiken for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Woodward Academy waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the South Aiken Thoroughbreds by a score of 2-0.

Woodward Academy never let South Aiken on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-23.

Reagan Bland paced Woodward Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Bland got some help from Marissa Jones and her 19 assists. Jones was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Woodward Academy's win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for South Aiken, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
