Soccer Recap: Brooks County Takes a Loss

Brooks County entered their game against Lanier County on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lanier County Bulldogs who were credited with the win. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Brooks County's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lanier County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brooks County will face off against Turner County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lanier County, they will host Atkinson County at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
