University Lab has gone a perfect 5-0 against Madison Prep Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The University Lab Cubs will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. University Lab has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
University Lab lost 16-4 to Holden on Monday.

London Harvey was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Morgan Jackson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison Prep Academy). Everything went their way against Livonia on Monday as Madison Prep Academy made off with a 25-17 victory.
Kyndal Robertson made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off four hits. Robertson was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2024.
In other batting news, Tabrina Knighten was incredible, going 5-for-6 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Jasmin Robertson was another key player, scoring four runs while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
Madison Prep Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
University Lab's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.2 runs. As for Madison Prep Academy, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. University Lab has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .546. However, it's not like Madison Prep Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .473. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went University Lab's way against Madison Prep Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as University Lab made off with a 19-0 victory.
