Basketball Recap: Fort Atkinson Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Fort Atkinson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They managed a 61-57 win over the Milton Red Hawks on Tuesday. This was payback for the Blackhawks, who suffered a 58-56 loss the last time these two teams met.

Fort Atkinson pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Milton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Fort Atkinson will challenge Watertown at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Watertown knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Fort Atkinson likes a good challenge. As for Milton, they will take on Waunakee at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Waunakee will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Milton surely won't give up without a fight.
