Guilford hasn't had much luck against Harlem recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Guilford easily dispatched Freeport on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Vikings fell just short of Belvidere by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Vikings have suffered since April 13, 2024.

Amiyah Wyrick made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Meanwhile, Harlem has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.94 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They fell just short of Belvidere North by a score of 10-8. The Huskies have struggled against the Blue Thunder recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
