Volleyball Recap: Ironwood Takes a Loss

Ironwood saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Basha Bears.

Malaya Gibbs paced Ironwood's offense, picking up five kills. Gibbs got some help from Ashley Logan and her 13 assists.

Ironwood now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Basha, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Ironwood has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Verrado on the 8th. As for Basha, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Xavier College Prep on the 6th.
