North Wilkes barely beat Surry Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Golden Eagles on Friday. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

North Wilkes' win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Surry Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, North Wilkes will take on Forbush at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Surry Central, they will welcome Ashe County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
