Basketball Recap: Neenah Takes a Loss

Neenah suffered their closest loss since January 2nd on Monday. They fell just short of the Monona Grove Silver Eagles by a score of 73-70. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Silver Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Neenah's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Monona Grove, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Neenah will take on Oshkosh North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neenah is facing Oshkosh North at the right time seeing as Oshkosh North is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Monona Grove, they will welcome DeForest at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. DeForest will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Monona Grove surely won't give up without a fight.
