Softball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King suffered their closest loss since May 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Roosevelt Mustangs by a score of 6-4. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

King's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Roosevelt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King will host Corona at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Roosevelt, they will challenge Santiago at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
