Baseball Game Preview: Dothan Wolves vs. Headland Rams

Dothan is 0-6 against Headland since April of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Dothan Wolves will welcome the Headland Rams at 5:30 p.m.

Dothan fell victim to Slocomb and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Red Tops by a score of 1-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dothan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kane Shellhouse, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Headland entered their tilt with Houston Academy on Saturday with seven consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 9-6.

Headland pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Dothan, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
