Syracuse waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Falls City Tigers. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Syracuse who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 25-19.
