Baseball Recap: West Memphis Comes Up Short

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Manila Lions, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by exactly ten runs.

Caleb Kuhn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

West Memphis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Manila, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Looking ahead, West Memphis will be playing in front of their home fans against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Manila, they will take on Newport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
