Baseball Recap: Lynnwood Takes a Loss

Lynnwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Shorewood Stormrays, falling 14-2. That's two games in a row now that the Royals have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Lynnwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Shorewood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lynnwood will take on rival Archbishop Murphy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Shorewood is set to challenge their familiar foe Shorecrest at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Shorewood 3.4, Shorecrest 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
