Baseball Recap: Ridgewood Starts off Right with Win over Passaic

Ridgewood had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Passaic Indians a 10-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Maroons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Passaic's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Ridgewood will head out on the road to square off against Passaic County Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Passaic, they will host Wayne Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
