Woodcrest Christian entered their tilt with South Gate on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Rams 12-5.

Woodcrest Christian got a great performance from Seth Avila as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk).

On the hitting side, Brett Lombardi was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Micah Penner, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
