Softball Recap: Renaissance Academy Knights vs. Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions
Renaissance Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions 22-2.
Jenna Minnick was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs but no hits. Minnick was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Gabby Anderoni was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Angelina Tamburino was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
