Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

With a playoff win on the line, Cheyenne/Reydon rose to the challenge on Thursday. They snuck past the Okay Mustangs with a 45-39 win.

Cheyenne/Reydon found their leader in sophomore Kimbo Denney, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Denney is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 55% in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Braylee Wright, who posted 11 points.

Cheyenne/Reydon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Cheyenne/Reydon is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. Okay moved to 18-9 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Cheyenne/Reydon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-41 victory against Waukomis on the 28th. Okay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
