Softball Recap: Beauregard Comes Up Short

Beauregard blew Moody out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Moody got their revenge. The Hornets fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Hornets have suffered since May 15, 2024.

Beauregard's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Moody, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

Beauregard will welcome Pike Road at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Moody, they will head out to challenge Ramsay at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
