Baseball Recap: Powell Comes Up Short

Powell has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.91 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against the Daniel Boone Trailblazers, falling 12-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since May 2, 2024.

Powell's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Daniel Boone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8-1 record this season.
