Soccer Game Preview: Warwick vs. Bethel

The Warwick Raiders will head out on the road to square off against the Bethel Bruins at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Warwick is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Gloucester on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Dukes. The loss continues a trend for Warwick in their meetings with Gloucester: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bethel). They beat Phoebus by a goal, winning 2-1.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bethel, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6-1.

Warwick took their victory against Bethel when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bruins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
