If Taravella was riding high fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Plantation last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Taravella Trojans fell just short of the South Broward Bulldogs by a score of 6-4 on Monday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Taravella's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for South Broward, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taravella will face off against Coral Glades at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Broward, they will take on Monarch at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. South Broward is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.
