Volleyball Recap: Grand Blanc Wins Going Away Against Carman-Ainsworth + How To Watch

Grand Blanc's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Grand Blanc walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-18.

Grand Blanc can attribute much of their success to Reya Mohre, who had seven digs and two aces. Those seven digs gave Mohre a new career-high. Sophie Perkins also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-14-2. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grand Blanc is set to take on their familiar foe Powers Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carman-Ainsworth will square off against rival Davison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
