Basketball Game Recap: Natchez Bulldogs vs. Brookhaven Panthers

If the Natchez Bulldogs were riding high off their 65-26 takedown of the Provine Rams last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Natchez lost to the Panthers on the road by a decisive 57-42 margin on Tuesday. Natchez was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Brookhaven found their leader in underclassman Madison Benson, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Benson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kema Roberts, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.

Natchez's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Brookhaven, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-12.

Natchez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brookhaven also has no future games currently scheduled.
