Baseball Recap: Cibola Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Cibola's offense. They came up short against the Cleveland Storm on Friday, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since March 14th.

Cibola saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Escobedo, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Gavin Artis also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cibola and nudges their season record down to 14-8. As for Cleveland, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
