Recap: Rockwell Christian School Chargers vs. New Manna Christian Wind
The Rockwell Christian School Chargers lost against the New Manna Christian Wind back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Rockwell Christian School ended up on the wrong side of a tough 50-29 walloping at the hands of New Manna Christian. Rockwell Christian School has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rockwell Christian School lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kylie Smith, who scored 14 points. The game was Smith's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Jordan, who scored eight points.
Rockwell Christian School now has a losing record at 5-6. As for New Manna Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwell Christian School will take on Shining Light Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Shining Light Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 back in December of 2023. As for New Manna Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Victory Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. Victory Christian Academy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
