Basketball Game Preview: Oilton Panthers vs. Paden Pirates

Oilton hasn't had much luck against Paden recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Oilton Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Paden Pirates at 6:30 p.m. Paden took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Oilton, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Oilton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Depew, but they still walked away with a 47-42 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Paden didn't have quite enough to beat Union City on Saturday and fell 60-58. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oilton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Paden, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Oilton took a serious blow against Paden in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 64-30. Can Oilton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
