Soccer Game Preview: London vs. Indian Lake

The London Red Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Indian Lake Lakers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. London has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 19.

Saturday just wasn't the day for London's offense. They lost 10-0 to Miami Trace on Saturday. While losing is never fun, London can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while Miami Trace are ranked 194th).

Meanwhile, Indian Lake also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Urbana on Wednesday, falling 7-0. Indian Lake have struggled against Urbana recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Indian Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for London, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Everything went London's way against Indian Lake in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as London made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
