It was a good run, but Argenta-Oreana unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights. If the Bombers were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21.

Mya Hill paced Argenta-Oreana's offense, picking up six kills. Hill got some help from Allison Havener and her six assists. Finally, Elyssa Armstrong kept Argenta-Oreana's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Argenta-Oreana's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.
