Gibbs took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South-Doyle, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Loudon 3-0 on Thursday. The Cherokees haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Gibbs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for South-Doyle, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.
