Kirtland came into Monday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Bedford Bearcats on Monday as they made off with a 16-3 victory. Considering the Hornets have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Gracie Svigel looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits.

At the plate, Maggie Kothera was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Seirra Godfrey was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
