Softball Recap: Kennard-Dale Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Kennard-Dale entered their tilt with York Suburban on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Trojans 14-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 back in March.

Lilliana Fleming and Addie Argiro did most of the damage at the plate: Fleming went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Argiro went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was Fleming's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Elaina Zabkowski, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kennard-Dale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Kennard-Dale pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for York Suburban, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
