Baseball Game Preview: Uxbridge Spartans vs. Medway Mustangs

The Uxbridge Spartans are taking a road trip to take on the Medway Mustangs at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Uxbridge nor Medway posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Uxbridge made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Auburn, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Spartans fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 4-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Spartans have suffered since May 16, 2025.

Meanwhile, Medway came up short against Norton on Monday and fell 5-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Medway saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Bosse, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Medway's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Uxbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Uxbridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Medway in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, winning 7-2. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
