Basketball Recap: Hardin County Takes a Loss

If Hardin County was feeling good fresh off their 71-40 takedown of Carroll Academy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hardin County Tigers fell just short of the Lexington Tigers by a score of 54-51 on Friday. Hardin County was not able to make up for their defeat to Lexington from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Hardin County's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lexington, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-8.

Hardin County will face off against Chester County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will square off against Jackson South Side at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson South Side will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Lexington surely won't give up without a fight.
