Softball Recap: Lake Highland Prep Comes Up Short

Lake Highland Prep fell victim to Master's Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Highlanders in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Lake Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Master's Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Lake Highland Prep will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th. Olympia has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.22 runs per game on average), something Lake Highland Prep will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Master's Academy, they have already played their next match, a 7-6 victory against Tavares on the 24th.
