Basketball Recap: Braxton County Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

There's no place like home for Braxton County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They strolled past the Doddridge County Bulldogs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 72-54. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 76-57 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Braxton County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Baldwin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Brady Toler, who went 7 of 13 en route to 17 points and five assists.

Braxton County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive matchups.

Doddridge County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Will Adams, who posted 11 points, and Landon Thomas, who earned 14 points and seven rebounds. Jerod Trent was another key player, putting up ten points.

Braxton County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
