Soccer Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Penn-Liberty Mountie. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Troy couldn't quite close it out.

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for North Penn-Liberty, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-7-1 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Troy will square off against Jersey Shore at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Penn-Liberty, they will face off against Northern Potter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
