Soccer Game Preview: Harding vs. Kolbe-Cathedral

The Harding Presidents will venture away from home to face off against the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kolbe-Cathedral took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Harding, who comes in off a win.

Harding barely beat Amistad the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Presidents were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Wolves on Tuesday. Harding have beaten Amistad the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Amistad has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kolbe-Cathedral took on Pomperaug on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 6-2 to the Panthers. Kolbe-Cathedral have struggled against Pomperaug recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Harding picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Kolbe-Cathedral, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-2.
