Baseball Game Preview: Seminary Bulldogs vs. St. Patrick Fighting Irish

For the second straight game, Seminary will face off against St. Patrick. The Bulldogs will host the Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Seminary has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Seminary heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Monday. They fell just short of St. Patrick by a score of 4-3.

Drake Williamson was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Seminary saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Napier, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Patrick pushed their record up to 19-10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Seminary, their loss dropped their record down to 26-6-2.
