If Wekiva wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dr. Phillips, they should've done a better job of containing Evan Cervantes. The Panthers blew past the Mustangs 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Cervantes, who had 17 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Dr. Phillips not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Wekiva between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

Dr. Phillips' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Wekiva, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Dr. Phillips will venture away from home to take on University at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wekiva, they will welcome Lake Buena Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
