Ruleville Central lost to Leflore County 44-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Humphreys County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,879 from 10,282. The advance stemmed from a 28-8 victory over the Cowboys last week.
The Tigers' Markevion Quinn and Anthony Spivey have formed a dream team this season, leading 3A Region 3 in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Quinn has thrown for 890 yards this season, while Spivey has 26 catches for 442 yards. Quadre Butler from East Side leads the league in rushing with 922 yards.
The Trojans' Butler needs only 78 yards against Ruleville Central next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 127 carries Butler has put up 922 yards this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when O'Bannon takes on Humphreys County. The Greenwaves are in first place, while Homer Body's team is in fifth place.
The Tigers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Jerome Walker's team.
