Softball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short

Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They lost 21-3 to the Buna Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Makayla Buller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Buna, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Warren has already played their next game (against Harlan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Buna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
